Alshabab Denounces Scholars’ Dubai conference

After finalization of Dubai Muslim scholars' conference on Somalia entitled Somalia and wisdom of sharia, Harakat Al-shabab, Islamic militant group, spoke out the conference and denounced its hold and matters raised during the conference.

Sheik Muktar Robow Ali popularly known as Abu Mansur , a senior Al-shabab leader addressing to friday prayers in one of Mogadishu’s Alshabab held mosques vehemently  denounced Dubai finalized conference pointing it to have been unjust and conspiracy meeting.

The final statement from the meeting in attendance of well-known Islamic scholars of different nationalities including Somalis says that ongoing war in Somalia has nothing do with what Islamic religion says "Jihad".

 Sheikh Muktar Abu Mansur called on ordinary Somali grassroots not to abandon the adoption of Islamic belief even if Islamists commit crimes.

Dubai meeting was held with participation of Somali incumbent president, Sheik Shariif on his way back home from Lodon visit.
